We publish novels, novellas, and collections of flash fiction. If your fiction lingers between the real and the imagined, if it asks more questions than it answers, we’d love to read it. We’re particularly drawn to:
- Literary and character-driven fiction
- Horror, psychological, or speculative stories
- Works with rich atmosphere and quiet intensity
- Narratives that reflect diverse voices and lived experiences
- Themes like emotional truth, identity, transformation, and courage
GUIDELINES
We welcome submissions from first-time and established authors alike.
We currently accept:
- Novels: 50,000–100,000 words
- Novellas: 20,000–50,000 words
- Short Story Collections: 40,000–70,000 words (thematically cohesive)
We do not currently accept:
- Fanfiction or works already under contract elsewhere
- Poetry collections
- Scripts or screenplays
- Nonfiction works
How to Submit
Please email your submission to [email protected] with the subject line:
Fiction Submission [Novel/Novella/Short Story] – [Title] by [Author Name]
If using a pen name or alias, please give both for clarity.
Attach the following materials in .docx or .pdf format:
- Query Letter (1 page) — Include title, word count, genre, and a short 2–3 sentence pitch.
- Synopsis (1–2 pages) — A full summary including the ending.
- Sample Chapters — The first 30 pages or first three chapters, whichever comes first.
- Author Bio (100–150 words) — Share a bit about yourself, your inspiration, or prior writing experience.
Optional:
- Trigger or content warnings if relevant
- Notes on your intended audience or genre niche
Manuscript Formatting
Please use standard manuscript format:
- 12 pt Times New Roman
- Double-spaced
- 1-inch margins
- Numbered pages
- Include your name and title in the header
Response Time
We aim to respond within 8–12 weeks.
If you haven’t heard from us after 12 weeks, you’re welcome to send a brief query for an update.
Simultaneous submissions are accepted — just notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.

How do you choose which manuscripts to publish?
We select stories based on originality, writing quality, emotional depth, and how well they fit our focus genres and subgenres within (fantasy, thriller, horror). We look for strong voices and compelling narratives.
We implore authors seeking to submit that they do not use AI-generated stories or manuscripts. We want stories written from the heart of a human (or the mind of one!). Those that flag as predominantly AI-generated in the initial submission phase will be tossed from the submission entries.
